Mission

Red Redemption are an award-winning independent developer of socially positive commercial entertainment games based in Oxford partnered with Oxford University Consulting. Awards won include a Smart Innovation Award, Best European Green IT award and a Climate Challenge award. Red Redemption were recognised as global leaders in the field of games and were nominated as World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer candidates in 2009.

Right now we are developing Climate Challenge 2010 a commercial indie PC entertainment game that is the follow up to our 2007 title "Climate Challenge”, a highly successful climate change game sponsored by the BBC with 1 million unique players and over 3 million possible strategies.

We are all long time gamers but we wanted to do things a bit differently with out own company: we wanted to make games that tackle tricky subjects we care about. We ensure our games are:

Socially-positive
Fun to play entertainment for all the family
Focussed on real-world and non-violent themes
Scientifically accurate
Rewarding: you make discoveries while you play
