Portfolio » ClimateX Red Redemption are the developers and designers of the ClimateX.org community portal that is part of the DEFRA Climate Challenge Fund Oxfordshire ClimateXChange project. The portal has entered the next phase with an exciting set of new features including a new portal front end.The site is an exciting project for us, as we are actively involved in getting the users involved and the ongoing development of the site as full partners in the project. As an essential part of meeting the requirements that both the Environmental Change Institute team and ourselves came up with, we have built a whole Content Management System from the ground up using the Django framework that encapsulates blogging, forums, article management, photo management, tagging and a whole host of features that are all tightly integrated and are easy to maintain for future updates. Creating an inspiring climate awareness in Oxfordshire The Oxfordshire ClimateXChange is a new Climate Change project for Oxfordshire. It’s about you, your family, your neighbour, your street, your pub, school, business, church all getting ‘fantastically imaginative’ about climate change. How do you feel? What do you want to know? How do you want to find it out? What do you want to do? ClimateXChange is here to help you do all that. Turn climate change on its head, dive in and experience the thrill of the adventure.
Climate explorersWe're recruiting volunteer 'climate explorers' to help generate a climate buzz across Oxfordshire - people like you! Do you want to organise an event? Maybe you want to learn how to make your local climate film? Perhaps you want to speak about climate change to your club?
